Here is the audio recording from ESSA’s inaugural Q&A event! The event was held at Old Arts Public Lecture Theatre on 16th August, 2012, with nearly 300 audience members enjoying a fantastic discussion on immigration and Australia’s two speed economy.  The panel included:

  • George Megalogenis, respected economics journalist with The Australian
  • Stephen Koukoulas, Managing Director of Market Economics and former economics advisor to PM Julia Gillard
  • Professor W. Max Corden, pre-eminent international economist from Melbourne Institute
  • James Paterson,  Editor of the Institute of Public Affairs (IPA) review
  • Associate Professor Neville Norman, Economist, Consultant to the Public and Private sectors and Academic at University of Melbourne
  • Stephen Long, Economics Correspondent at ABC as moderator
