Connie is a third year Bachelor of Commerce student, majoring in Economics (just the one!). Her interest in economics is rooted in her study of the financial crisis preceding the French Revolution of 1789, a topic in which she seeks to complete a thesis in an honours year further down the track.
In the meantime, Connie is currently the Secretary of ESSA, making sure she records all the minutes of our chaotic meetings and putting out our banging weekly newsletter to help students navigate the strange and daunting path to a career in economics.
When she isn’t trying to be a perfectly rational individual (always), she will happily chat to you about tennis, fashion, or the newest plant baby she has adopted into her family. Her goals for the year include getting 10 hours of sleep each night, and drawing up business plans for the florist she plans to open later in life.
